Step 1
Pre-Consultation
Before getting you up and Muving again, we ensure Muve is the best option for your unique needs. Following a referral by your physician, our partner surgeons meet with you to learn more about your situation and provide a clinical recommendation, including whether the Muve Program is right for you.
Step 2
Meet Your Navigator
We introduce your personal Muve Navigator as soon as you enter the Muve Program. He or she is with you every step of the way through your care journey, from the days before your surgery up to your one-year “new joint” anniversary, providing education, encouragement, and expert-level clinical support when and where you need it.
Step 3
Set Personal Goals
At Muve, we believe in partnership. That’s why patients and Muve navigators sign a Partnership Agreement committing one another to playing an active, engaged role throughout the care journey. As part of the Partnership Agreement, you and your Muve Navigator will collaborate in setting personalized recovery goals designed to get you back to doing what you love, with the people you love.
Step 4
Pre-Surgery Education
Before surgery day, your physician and Muve Navigator personally prepare you for the big day. Our team will ensure your questions are answered in full, and go the extra mile to educate you and your support people.
Step 5
Surgery
You can rest assured knowing your surgery will be performed in our ASC by an experienced surgeon who specializes in Total Joint Replacement, and supported by a highly trained team of professionals whose only goal is to provide you with the best care possible.
Step 6
Get Walking
Our on-site physical therapists will work with you to get you up and moving quickly after Total Joint Replacement surgery; usually within 90 minutes. Research shows that this step is critically important and proven to contribute to healthier outcomes.
Step 7
Muve Suites Stay
Our commitment to supporting your goals and providing personal care doesn’t stop when you are discharged from the surgery center. Our expert care team will work with you personally for up to 48 hours post-surgery to kickstart your recovery in our innovative Muve Suites environment. As a Muve Suites client, you’ll experience a level of care not found in traditional settings, including 24-hour nursing attention, on-site physical therapy, and a tailored education plan to help you achieve your recovery goals.
Step 8
Post-Op Engagement
Many costly and inconvenient return visits to a hospital after Total Joint Replacement surgery happen because a patients are unsure of how to safely care for themselves when they get home. For patients’ friends and family, it can also feel overwhelming to try and understand everything they need to do to provide support during recovery. Your ongoing partnership with your Muve Navigator is designed to eliminate these fears and promote optimized outcomes, even after you return home. You can expect your Muve Navigator to check in with you regularly and to be on-call to help answer any questions or concerns you may have.

Your Year Anniversary
We care about you, and we care about your long-term outcome. That’s why you can expect our team to follow up with you all the way through your first-year anniversary after surgery! We’ll be with you to celebrate your success and progress after a full year of recovery and your journey to getting you back to the most important thing: you.
