Elaine Purvis

Elaine Purvis joined Muve Health as chief operations officer in 2018. Prior to Muve Health, Elaine served as senior vice president of the ValueHealth Transformation Center within Muve’s parent company, NueHealth. Here, she led the development and implementation of provider networks and value-based initiatives, including ValueHealth’s Ambulatory Centers of Excellence (ACE) and Surgery Savings programs.

Elaine has nearly 25 years of healthcare experience, including system-wide oversight for strategic planning, marketing, service line development and provider relations, as well as quality, patient satisfaction and employee engagement programs. Her tenure also includes the successful design and implementation of leading-edge programs and centers for cancer treatment, orthopedics and bariatrics.

As a trained quality examiner, Elaine brings a passion for lean design and superior customer experience. She believes that Muve Health has transformed the joint replacement model to deliver value-based care and superior outcomes.

Elaine earned her Masters in Health Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas through its Executive Program.
